  1. Mirae Asset Global Investments hired Puneet Bhatia as Director-Real Estate

Mirae Asset Global Investments, an auxiliary of the Mirae Asset Financial Group, hired Puneet Bhatia as its director and head-real estate in February 2018.
Puneet enrolled with the company from Edelweiss Finance, where he assumed the post of executive vice-president.
He has more than 23 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, lending and structured finance and has also moved in with Shapoorji Pallonji as Director and Head (Investments), Senior Vice President (Real Estate Asia), Wells Fargo Bank, among others.

  1. Mantri Developers designates Nishanth Vishwanath as CEO – Retail & Commercial Leasing

Bangalore-based Mantri Developers designates Nishanth Vishwanath as its Chief Executive Officer of retail and trade leasing in February 2018. Vishwanath has over 17 years of experience in business management and will be neglecting the commercial and retail business of Mantri Developers.
He joined Mantri Developers from Marriott International after spending almost twenty years of his career. In his previous responsibility, Nishanth Vishwanath worked as General Manager at Marriott.


  1. JLL India deputizes Hardeep Dayal as COO for capital markets

JLL India designated Hardeep Dayal as its Chief Operating Officer (COO)-Capital Markets in February 2018.
Prior to this, he was working with ICICI Ventures as principal (Investments, fund raising & investor relations) and ICICI Property Services as founding member & head.

  1. Colliers appoints Harleen Oberoi as senior ED-project management

Colliers International India appointed Harleen Oberoi as the senior executive director, Project Management (India) & Developer Projects Leader (South Asia) in February 2018.
Prior to this, he was working with Brookfield Global Integrated Solutions, where he held the portfolio of Executive Director & Country Head.

  1. Tata Housing CEO and MD Brotin Banerjee quits

Tata Housing Managing Director and CEO Brotin Banerjee left the firm in February quoting personal grounds.
Banerjee moved on to the Tata group’s realty arm as deputy CEO in 2006 and was given promotion as MD and CEO in 2008.

  1. Motilal Oswal appoints Anil Nair as Deputy MD of AHFCL

Motilal Oswal Financial Services (MOFSL) took on board Anil Nair as Deputy Managing Director of Aspire Home Finance Corporation (AHFCL) in February 2018.

Before joining AHFCL Anil was working with DHFL as vice-president & zonal head. He had been earlier with ICICI Banks Mortgage Business, MIRC Electronics (ONIDA) and Bata India.

  1. Santhosh Kumar joins ANAROCK as Group Vice Chairman

Real estate consulting firm JLL India’s ex-CEO (Operations) Santhosh Kumar joined ANAROCK Property Consultants as Group Vice Chairman in January 2018.
Santhosh started his career in 1998 as finance manager with Chesterton Meghraj, was promoted to chief finance officer in 2000 and became a member of the Board of Chesterton Meghraj as advisor on critical strategic planning issues and made recommendations on major business initiatives and financial decisions. 2002 onwards he was manager of business operations for property consultants Trammell Crow Meghraj (TCM) in Northern and Eastern India and from there he grew to become the chief operating officer.
